There is convincing evidence to show that buildings which meet the occupier's needs at the optimum of cost and performance are those that have been properly commissioned. Commissioning is generally seen as a process that takes place before the building is handed over to the owner or occupier. But to get the best from buildings the commissioning process should be managed and planned from feasibility through design, construction and operation. This process is known as continuous Commissioning .When appropriately applied it will deliver substantial benefits in reduced: operating cost ,energy consumption and environmental impact while providing better buildings for the occupants and of greater value to the owner . The information and knowledge gained by the process provides rich feedback to design that will accelerate innovation and our progress to a sustainable future.
